Capabilities

What the application does.

Designed alongside trainees and consultants in Greek cardiology departments, around the workflows they already use.

01

Structured procedure logging

Structured fields and L1–L5 participation levels for PCI, TEE, Holter, catheterisation, ablation, device implantation and more. If you don't remember a code, autocomplete finds it from the first few letters.

  • 120+ activities available out of the box
  • Quick entry in 11 seconds · full form in 45
02

Complexity & outcomes

Each entry carries a difficulty score, intra-procedural events, and follow-up notes. You can see where you're improving and where you're stuck.

03

Curriculum tracking

Tracks ESC and Hellenic Society of Cardiology (HSC) requirements per training year and shows what is still missing.

04

Portfolio export to PDF

Export a signed portfolio to PDF with two taps, in a layout an examiner can read easily.

05

Sync across devices

iPhone on call, iPad in clinic, laptop in the library. Everything stays in sync.

06

Supervisor countersigning

Each entry is reviewed and approved by the supervising consultant directly from their phone. The app keeps who logged it, who signed it, and when, so the record stands up to review.

07

Stored on EU servers

Data is stored on encrypted, ISO 27001-certified servers located in the European Union.

Countersign

Countersigning from your supervisor's phone.

The supervising consultant receives a push notification with the procedure summary, the participation level, and any flagged events. One tap approves it. Authorship, supervisor, and timestamps are retained alongside the entry as a record of attestation.

  • Approval directly from the consultant's phone
  • Full record of authorship, supervisor, and timestamps
  • Ready for hospital and training-programme review
Assessments

Assessments, appraisals, and multi-source feedback.

Dr Logbook also covers the formative side of training. Workplace-based assessments, periodic appraisals, and multi-source feedback are requested, filled in, and stored next to the procedure record, so there is no separate paperwork.

  • Workplace-based assessments
  • Periodic appraisals
  • Multi-source (360°) feedback
Rotations

Rotation tracking.

Each rotation is logged with its clinic, dates, and supervisor. The procedures and assessments from that period are grouped under it, so the record shows where, when, and under whom each part of the training took place.

  • Rotation history with clinics, dates, and supervisors
  • Procedures and assessments grouped per rotation
  • Included in the portfolio export
Setup

How it works.

  1. 1

    Get invited by your department

Departments enrol Dr Logbook for their trainees. Once enrolled, you receive an invitation by email and activate your account in a couple of minutes.

  2. 2

    Log a procedure

Structured forms, autocomplete, voice notes. Works offline; syncs when you reconnect.

  3. 3

    Get it countersigned

Your supervisor reviews and approves the entry from their phone. The signed entry keeps its author, supervisor, and timestamps.

  4. 4

Export your portfolio when you need it

A single PDF, laid out for an examiner.
